I realize I sounded like it was a speech - but the danger is so real, it’s the only rational path. Standing up together to let them know, not after the fact, but now. They will not pass.
"If this can happen to me, then it can happen to YOU." The only truthful statement coming from that man's mouth ... translated: "If you wantonly break laws, and the evidence of those wrong doings is collected, you will be prosecuted - no one is above the law. Even me."
I was in a state of disbelief when that verdict came down. I have become so jaded that I assumed this jury would cave to the cult. Oh my! Oh my! Even though I wonder if it will matter in the long run, I have (if only briefly) had my faith a tad bit restored.
This is a time that calls for everyone to show those who would upturn the rule of law that it won’t be tolerated.
Everywhere we can and whenever we can.

I just saw the most recent Southern Poverty Law Center report. We are going to have to protect them more than we ever had to in my lifetime.
The GOP needs to stop its bullying behavior.
