Oh my heart. I see this story often. In my experience, none of the people I've ever given money to on the street have run to buy booze. That's one of he ugliest Reagan era lies there is. Thank you Manuel for spreading compassion.

I give to panhandlers without judgement. I figure if I have to judge and worry about whether the money will be use to buy, food, drugs or whatever then it's better that I not give. Give unconditionally. That woman or that man could be me or anyone I know.

Compassion tastes the salty tears that stream down another's face. Thank you Manuel for another post reminding us and showing us what compassion is all about.
