Oh Manuel, I assume you're referring to Gov Whitmer. I'm so heartbroken too. They tried to kidnap and kill her and she's extending the Olive Branch? WTAF!!
I really have no idea how Whitmer is doing in the "fight against fascism". I have heard her speak in the past and was quite impressed. But that's a snapshot. I was also impressed with Cory Booker and his filibuster. He was inspiring! And yet he voted to confirm Perdue for our man in China. Perdue is a bigot!
As a former Mainer, I am proud of Governor Mills. She said "I will see you in court" to the Dumpster. She did and she won. But I am sure there are a couple of issues I might disagree with her on.
I think we need less litmus tests and more unity.
The enemy is in "onslaught" mode.
As my cousin Ben said: "We must all hang together, or we shall all hang separately".
Agreed. History suggests that "the people" will rise up and make a change. But it is usually after they experience extreme suffering. And it will be messy.
What continues to astound me is that the "Powers in Charge" speak of a Christian Nation and yet simultaneously say things like "Cruelty is the point". It is inexplicable.

It would be good if she was extending an olive branch— only she knows, Lorraine.

Bill, it is up to the people to fix this mess. The politicians are not too reliable, unfortunately. Who and where are the statesmen/women to lead us?

Could it be that hatred of others is the product of hating your convoluted self?
