It has been a week of "hurry up and waits" on medical issues. This, within several weeks filled with news of friends struggling through medical situations. Some are accepting the inevitable. Some hope to avoid what they do not want to accept. Others accepting situations with no solution.
Having no time to write as I usually do I offer this gift from CAC.org

So sorry to hear that you and those close to you are struggling. Sending warm wishes to all...
What a poignant selection from Father Richard! I have yet to have that kind of relationship with a God. I am so solidly entrenched in the rigid and authoritarian God of my Catholic childhood , where the prayers were rote, the crucifixes were scary. and the blame was all mine. I was a lost cause from the very beginning. I read these descriptions of prayer with envy and discomfort. They don't seem real or I can't find this approach in my experience. I have been tuned into Rev Rohr for some years now but maybe I need to more fully investigate. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I hope your medical issues (and those of your loved ones) resolve themselves quickly so that you can heal in the warmth of spring
