Solid article and conclusions. Get out and vote on November 5 and don'y forget to evaluate judges and local/state referendums impact on you and the earth.
Well done, Manuel! You are absolutely correct! We must find our way to electing fully pro-life politicians on Nov. 5, 2024 and have super majorities in the House and Senate and a president who will sign the pro-life bills passed overwhelmingly by those legislators. Then cleanse the SCOTUS of the snakes that coil and hiss there.
I agree, Manuel, they have every right to live. Their rights are the same as yours and mine. But, they have no right to be in SCOTUS.
By “pro-life” I’m not writing about anti-abortion. I’m writing about food assistance, the park service, living wages, a government that actually cares more about its people as a whole and not those merely capable of sending the Donald’s campaign $45M/month. (Although that seems like it was a Trump fantasy rather than a Musk plan.)
1,000% agree. At this moment, there is a huge fire in NorCal, burning and burning and burning , AND several smaller ones. The satellite images show that heat so sharply. Besides burning homes and destroying property, the smoke that hangs over NorCal is so unhealthy and - yeah - so unsightly. The ugliness is a relatively minor point but it reinforces for everyone how awful climate change is for the planet. As with so many other people, I will be voting in local, state, and national elections for candidates who are willing to make tough decisions and turn things around. Thanks for your article, Manuel. The answer is in the vote.
I think one thing every single adult should be doing is conserving energy NOW so they can do their part in reducing the dependence on fossil fuels. Yes, new energy sources need to be developed but RIGHT NOW stop consuming so much . Stop buy stuff. Stop using the gasoline powered cars. Stop flying as much as possible. Watch energy use in homes and at work. IDK.

Thanks for your wise advice, Scott. Politics begin at the local level.
Amen to this, Manuel.
Thanks for your comment, Lorraine. It is a matter of survival.
It's an important message that should be prominent in all Dem campaigns.
Front & center!
Equal with abortion tho, sad to say.

Thanks for your comment, Radha. Btw, snakes have a right to live— SCOTUS GOP appointees don't belong there.
