TRUTHS OR FALSEHOODS?
Tearing out the double tongue of falsehood…
In this work by Alfred Stevens, (1817-1875), at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Truth tears out the double tongue of Falsehood and unmasks it as well. Image by Iza Bella, courtesy of Wikimedia Commons. [1]
I reluctantly watched the vice-presidential “debate”. What could I possibly learn about the GOP ticket or the Democratic ticket? But I was mistaken. The exchange revealed the futility of expecting truth from staged performances, even with the extremely able moderating skills provided by Norah O'Donnell and Margaret Brennan.
Was this a worthwhile event? What is there to debate? Why give the GOP another prime-time opportunity to spread falsehoods and hate? Some observations:
Walz, was compassionate and caring in demeanor. He showed concern for the weak and the frail, and for women seeking to control their bodies. Walz showed support for extending healthcare to all Americans. He asserted himself as a champion of the working man and labor. Walz demonstrated his experience in the art of negotiating trade agreements. He displayed his executive experience as governor. Walz provided concrete examples of the policies that he implemented and the success that was achieved. He seemed to be genuinely interested in getting at the truth of what is best for America. Walz sent a message of inclusiveness and tolerance.
Walz’s opponent showed good debating skills; deftly used falsehoods to support his points. Why Walz’s opponent was against the convicted felon former POTUS before and is now supporting him is a mystery. He reproached the moderators for fact checking him. [2] Walz’s opponent failed to correct the false accusations that he made about the legally resident Haitians in Springfield, Ohio. He refused to admit to the convicted felon’s attempted coupe on January 6, 2021. Walz’s opponent evaded the reality of carbon-emissions-driven global warming. He showed fealty to the convicted felon and will not abide by election results on Nov 5 unless his ticket wins.
Who won the debate? Is truth weightier than falsehood? Do we want a proven servant of the people or an opportunistic servant of himself?
Vote on November 5th as if your life depends on it— because it does. Continue to keep America tyrant-free.

This is a concise, truthful thumbnail of the Walz Vance “debate.” “You are not supposed to call me out on my string of lies!” What in the world do Joyless Dirtbag believe that argument will do to help his ticket?
Never trust a greed head and a liar! Seems like the Republican Party is represented by two greed heads and liars.
Solid analysis. Make sure your family and friends realize their vote counts and is a right of democracy. Use it.
