Programs that can help offenders find a better path, and avoid recidivism are wonderful, and they clearly work. My wish is that those programs can be expanded, and that the same programs are made available to victims of crime so that their lives and the lives of their children are more likely to be vibrant and thriving.
I'd like to see restorative instead of punitive justice too.
