Yes, though it is tough to feel joyful in the face of tyranny, I see your point. This past week I have been aware of a few late winter blossoms popping out in the neighborhood. I have posted some photos of these beauties b/c they bring me joy and it's just one tiny way to spread the joy (even as I write my emails to lawmakers every day).
Much needed right now, thank you Manuel.
It feels impossible.
My husband was trying to plan a wonderful trip to a wedding in Europe this summer, and I yelled "I have zero capacity for joy right now!"
Even my wonderful trip to Australia this past month wasn't fully enjoyed because of the asshole MAGAs on the boat.
I've been meditating every morning.
But I'll also try to work on the "inner psychology." It's worth a shot.🙏🏻💙
"We have the power to develop a healthy inner psychology and be joyful regardless of outside personal and/or societal circumstances.
Be joyful! It feels a heck of lot better than sadness and builds up our capacity to confront the current regime positively.
Smile and carry on in opposing tyranny."
Thanks for your support, Lorraine.
Helpful, Manuel. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment, Jenny.
Well done, and spot on.
Thanks for your support, Dave.
