JOYFUL PIECE #73
Lost in the roundabout...

Lost in the roundabout. A bit over half of our fellow voters got it all wrong. Only around 60% of registered voters showed up to vote.
But just a bit under half of those voting got it right…And that cannot be dismissed. And those voters will oppose any and all despotic moves by the convict POTUS and his cronies.
Is the glass half full or half empty?
A positive outlook multiplies our energy. A negative outlook drains us at a time when we cannot afford to feel drained for the task ahead.
Be joyful if you voted for true life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and did not succumb to lies and Russian propaganda and did not vote for a despot.
Nothing matters but to do the right thing…and to joyfully persevere. Turn away from burning anger and hate. We must recruit more voters to share our vision of a compassionate nation that leaves no human being behind. Let graciousness and truth meet; let righteousness and peace kiss. Never lose faith in what is right.
“If you shed tears when you miss the sun, you also miss the stars.”

Join the joy! Much work to do, and we need every voter to join us, working with compassion for justice and peace.

Another great, uplifting story. Last night I watched the John Oliver show on HBO and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Comedy Ventral, who succinctly summarized where we were and paths forward. We must continue to drive for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness throughout our lives. Stay safe and healthy as we move ahead,
A joyful piece indeed, Manuel. No other way will work.
