I'm down with a scale that only measures joy, a true aim and challenge in a daunting world

Thanks for your comment. Happiness flares— joy is like glowing embers.

I recall a story from El Salvador. A volunteer criticized a family for growing flowers as well as food when food was such a need. The family responded that the volunteer was only there for a short time but the family lived there. The food fed their bodies but the flowers fed their spiritts.

Thanks for sharing, Donna. We need food for the soul too.

Just joy. How perfect is that. I am making it habitual to shw up with joy and gratitude. It's the least I can do. Thanks for this refreshing piece.

You’re welcome, Manuel. I do my best to balance in the light b/c I think that’s how we support each other, right?

It is a beautiful thought. Unfortunately, despite some possibilities, the joy scale is pointing to close to that big ZERO. I take into account all that is going on globally and the joy evaporates. Thank you for continuing to shine your personal light.

As heard from a sage, Verónica, happiness flares and wanes— joy glows as warm embers.

Good story to start my day. It would be interesting to be able to have a JOY scale in the house and track JOY throughout your life versus just at the end. Have a JOYful day, week, year, etc.
