My swirling storm delayed this post…
Sweet smells of spring return
Roaring winds abate
Gentle breezes caress
Leaves glisten with dew
Memories of whirlwinds fade
Presence
With my loved one
Fills me with joy

This stage of life - like no other - teaches why the present moment matters : )
Thankful for your calm after the storms.
Lovely words!! I love the picture, too - the buds, barely visible on the barren tree. The tree, the bare spots in the grass, the half-crumbled building all so stark in form. Even the water gives me a cool sense, rather than warmed through the summer. And yet, there is hope in the rich, gorgeous colors of the wall and grass and the budding trees. Stunning!! Thanks for sharing. XO
