Today I decided to observe for the most part trying not to react to comments I would have refuted last time. It was satisfying to listen to ideas now coming from them that I had vocalized forcefully last time. God is patient— maybe I should be too. 😎
Yes, curiosity is what keeps me going. Humanity has surprised (and been surprised) by itself before. Maybe we can do that again?
I saw this on a Substack post this morning and it really caught me:
"I like the way author and activist Garrett Bucks puts it when he writes “There’s nothing that oppressive regimes fear more than our love for each other.” I believe that to be true.
Hmmm, I haven’t witnessed the red ribbons showing up but I imagine they might be about support for any one of a huge number of groups of people who are being attacked in one way or another?
And thank you, for always being a gentle reminder that there are good, decent, and loving people all around us, if we just take the time and effort to look.
My goal is to attempt to be of maximum service to a god of my understanding and to other people.
Your attitude is commendable, Don.

Here is the whole post and well worth the thoughtful read: https://susiekaufman.substack.com/p/coming-out-of-hiding
Gracie, I appreciate your comment and the "Coming Out of Hiding" link— I restacked it and subscribed.
Do you know who is behind the red ribbons appearing overnight on tree trunks and posts, and what they symbolize?
I’m glad you found it valuable, Manuel.

Maybe the color is AOC red, as her lipstick…
Cheers to possibility and a shift in focus!
Gentle and loving inspiration, as usual. Thanks for your positive outlook; I sure do need it! <3
Thank you for your kindness, Lauri.

Another good one. Look to the future but realize how far we have come and how far we can still go. Have a great day
Have a great day Scott. Thanks for your support.
