Third world countries are frequently stigmatized with the Banana Republic label.
Is the USA becoming one?
Are all required elements in place?
A totalitarian-in-chief.
The subservient Senate and House of Representatives.
A compliant Supreme Court.
Many gullible voters.
Troops deployed against protesters.
And a miles-long military parade.
A new Banana Republic awaits…
Will we celebrate the birth of a subjugated nation or commemorate the death of a free nation?
Or will we offer #Resistance to the oppressor?
Offer Peaceful #Resistance With Empathy For The Misguided.

I will be attending a No Kings rally on June 14th.
Although I have begun to despise the term "Breaking News" as it sadly seems like everything is these days, I think this is a great use of the words. Another great one and I liked the song addition. Very creative.
